Fendi has officially announced that MINA, a member of the globally renowned girl group TWICE and the unit MISAMO, has been appointed as its new brand ambassador in Japan.
MINA debuted as a member of TWICE in 2015 and later became part of MISAMO in 2023, marking the group's first subunit composed of three Japanese members: MINA, SANA, and MOMO. In 2024, she will release her second mini-album, followed by her first live tour as part of MISAMO, including a dome tour and an additional performance at the Tokyo Dome in January 2025.
MINA’s association with Fendi began when she participated in the Fendi Spring/Summer 2024 Couture Collection in Paris in January 2024. Reflecting on her appointment as Japan’s Brand Ambassador, MINA shared, “I am thrilled to be named Fendi’s Japan Brand Ambassador, a brand I deeply admire and frequently wear. As Fendi celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, I feel incredibly honored to join the family at such a significant moment for the brand. I look forward to sharing Fendi’s charm, tradition, and spirit with everyone.”
In the official image showcasing her new role, MINA is seen wearing the new Peekaboo Soft Small bag, which will be available in select Fendi stores worldwide and on fendi.com starting January 9, 2025. She complements the bag with pink bouquet embroidery, jacquard knitwear, and Fendi Filo drop earrings from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
