Descente's premium line, DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN, will release the second collaboration item with Montreal-based design studio JJJJound in limited quantities starting at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 24th. The collection will be available at Descente's official online store, JJJJound.com, and at Descente Blanc Daikanyama starting Saturday, January 25th.
This collaboration follows the success of their first partnership, which quickly sold out, including popular down jackets. The collection combines Descente’s cutting-edge technology and craftsmanship, honed over 90 years of developing sports performance wear such as skiwear, with JJJJound’s minimalist design philosophy tailored for modern urban living. The result is a range of functional alpine ski items reimagined for urban environments.
The color palette for this release centers around monochrome black, with accents that seamlessly blend into the soft light storm blue from the first collection. The lineup includes items designed to protect you from harsh winter elements, including outer shells.
The collection features shell jackets and pants with a robust texture, offering excellent water resistance (20,000mm), wind resistance, and breathability, making them perfect for various environments. Additionally, a shell long coat combines advanced technology with a sleek silhouette.
Stretch jeans with a slimmer fit add depth to the collection, while a versatile duffel bag and compact passport bag, made from water-repellent polyester, complete the set.
