Loewe has announced the launch of its first large-scale exhibition, "Loewe Crafted World Exhibition: A World Woven by Crafts," which will be held from March 29 (Sat) to May 11 (Sun) 2025. Admission is free, but reservations are required. Information on how to make a reservation will be available on Loewe’s official website at a later date.

This global traveling exhibition, filled with art and culture, will debut in Shanghai in 2024 and invites visitors to explore the iconic designs and cultural collaborations that have shaped Loewe’s evolution. From its origins as a leather workshop in Madrid, Spain, in 1846 to its growth into one of the world’s leading luxury brands, the exhibition traces the brand’s rich history.

Visitors will experience a series of immersive, interactive rooms where they can delve into the creative worlds that have inspired Loewe’s collections, including collaborations with Studio Ghibli, Kyoto ceramics duo Suna Fujita, and more recent Loewe creations.

A highlight of the exhibition will be custom clothing worn by Beyoncé, marking an exciting first for the brand.

Japan holds a special place in Loewe’s history, as it was the first country outside of Europe where the brand opened a store in 1973. The deep cultural connection between Loewe and Japan serves as the backdrop for this exhibition in Tokyo. To celebrate, a special segment of the exhibition will showcase collaborations and cultural projects Loewe has undertaken both in Japan and internationally, with the venue design offering a unique reinterpretation of these connections.
The "Loewe Crafted World Exhibition" honors the brand’s legacy, Spanish traditions, and its dedication to craftsmanship.
