Kyoto International Photography Festival 2025 (Kyotographie) Begins April 12, With 13 Featured Artists Including Martin Parr And Mao Ishikawa

Theme and Artists for KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival 2025, Set for Its 13th Year, Have Been Unveiled

KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival is one of Japan's few international photography and independent art festivals, held in Kyoto, a city celebrated for its rich cultural heritage. The theme for the 13th edition in 2025 is "HUMANITY." In a world where global social issues are intensifying, the festival will explore the urgent challenges we face today through the work of a diverse group of artists. From Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, May 11, 2025, the main program will feature 13 artists from 10 countries, with their works displayed at various locations throughout Kyoto.
