The latest additions to the brand’s lineup are two hair care items: "Green Tea Seed Hair Oil" and "Satsuma Boxwood Comb" (crafted by Kihara Boxwood Comb).
The "Green Tea Seed Hair Oil" was created in collaboration between Kiko Mizuhara and long-time friend and model Laura, a partnership that arose from their shared passion for environmental sustainability. The tea seeds used in this product are sourced from the Tashiro area in Kinko Town, Kagoshima Prefecture. The decision to use these seeds stems from growing concerns about the increasing number of abandoned tea fields. The result is a lightweight, deeply moisturizing hair oil that nourishes each strand, leaving hair soft and smooth to the touch.
The "Satsuma Boxwood Comb" (made by Kihara Boxwood Comb) is a timeless accessory that has been cherished since the Edo period, particularly in the Satsuma region, where it is passed down as a lifelong item. Renowned for its fine, elastic texture and smooth, yellow appearance, this comb is soaked in camellia oil to enhance natural shine and moisture. Wooden combs, resistant to static electricity, are gentle on hair, preventing tangles, while their natural antibacterial properties promote scalp health. Additionally, they can improve blood circulation in the scalp, providing a calming and relaxing effect.
