On Monday, March 31, Valentino held an exclusive one-night event at the Hyokeikan Tokyo National Museum to celebrate the launch of the Spring/Summer 2025 Pavilion des Folies collection. The event attracted numerous celebrities, including Shunsuke Michieda and Tsubasa Honda, who mingled among the captivating displays.
The event transformed the museum’s space into a stunning reflection of Alessandro Michele's world, based on his debut collection, Pavilion des Folies (House of Madness). Originally presented in Paris in September 2024, the collection was brought to life in Tokyo through a mesmerizing performance, giving guests a unique opportunity to experience this fantastical world in Japan.
The venue was adorned with installations inspired by the color palette of the Pavilion des Folies collection, which included striking hues of red and green. These installations drew visitors into the surreal story of the collection, enhancing the immersive atmosphere.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by a DJ booth bathed in vivid green lighting. The venue’s underground vibe was amplified by an eclectic mix of music, ranging from Western tracks to lively Japanese pop. One of the most eye-catching features of the event was the towering 2-meter Le Chat de la Maison sculpture, inspired by the menodiaire bag, which invited guests to pose for photos.

Inside the venue, a room painted in Valentino’s iconic red served special drinks and sweets that captured the mood of the collection. Guests enjoyed delightful cherry and milk-inspired treats, adding a playful touch to the experience.
A central theme of the event was the "treasure hunt" concept, which was brought to life through a fun, interactive experience. Using LINE, guests embarked on a treasure hunt to find Le Chat de la Maison. The hunt was followed by a crane game and photo booth in a lavender-colored “playroom,” creating a nostalgic, whimsical atmosphere. Guests who completed the stamp rally or won prizes were treated to exclusive gifts at Valentino’s Omotesando or Ginza stores.
This event provided a rare opportunity to witness Alessandro Michele's distinct creative vision, where fantasy and beauty seamlessly converge. As the excitement for the Pavilion des Folies collection continues to build, all eyes are on Valentino’s next chapter.
