To mark their 13th year of collaboration, Ladurée and Hello Kitty are unveiling a delightful range of special items and experiences. The celebration will kick off with a private preview of the Hello Kitty Macaron Box, followed by the launch of exclusive products such as a sable tin, mini tote bag, and macaron boxes. These items, inspired by Hello Kitty’s shopping adventures and tea time at a salon de thé, will be available starting April 25, 2025.
A Playful Tea Party at Ladurée Hibiya
In honor of this collaboration, Ladurée will host an exclusive Afternoon Tea at the Ladurée Hibiya store from April 25th to June 30th, 2025. Guests will immerse themselves in Hello Kitty’s whimsical world while indulging in Hello Kitty’s favorite apple pie and a selection of savory dishes and pastries inspired by the Strawberry Newspaper.
The tea will include the signature Ladurée macarons filled with Hello Kitty-inspired designs. The Hello Kitty Macaron Box will come in two sizes, filled with six or nine macarons, featuring special flavors like the Printed Macaron 'Hello Kitty', which showcases three variations of Hello Kitty. Additionally, the tea will feature indulgent Guimauve Fraise Bonbons, as well as a variety of sweet and savory offerings like apple and foie gras puff pastry and apple and cream cheese sandwiches.
Exclusive Hello Kitty Desserts and Beverages
Ladurée’s special “Parfait Hello Kitty” is a playful dessert featuring layers of strawberry jelly, strawberry sorbet, vanilla cream, and fresh berries, crowned with a white chocolate Hello Kitty filled with air-in chocolate. Another treat, the “Hello Kitty Strawberry Latte,” is a refreshing cold strawberry latte adorned with a printed Hello Kitty enjoying her shopping spree at Ladurée.
Special Edition Items Available in June
In addition to the Hello Kitty Macaron Boxes, sable tins, and mini tote bags will be released in June. These limited-edition items will be available not only at Ladurée boutiques but also at pop-up locations in cities like Kumamoto, Hakata, and Nagoya, as well as online.
